For the first time we will be playing at White Eagle Golf Club
The 11th St. Thomas the Apostle “Holes for Hope” will take place Monday, June 23 at the beautiful White Eagle Golf Club.
In 2023, through the generous participation of sponsors, parishioners, and the community, $34,000 was raised. Each year St. Thomas Cares helps hundreds of local area families in emergency situations put food on their tables, avoid evictions and utility shutoffs, buy needed prescription medications, and resolve transportation issues (including auto repairs) allowing them to seek and keep employment. Helping these individuals and families is at the heart of the mission for this charity event. The economy has recovered for some, but low and many middle income families are still in major need. Last just under $50,000 was distributed. (St. Thomas Cares provides help for all in the local area without regard to age, race, religion, sex, ethnic origin, or sexual orientation.)
St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, located in the Brookdale neighborhood in Naperville, has a long history of outreach in the community and is proud to support this fundraising event. According to Peggy Goralski, Director of Outreach and Social Justice, “Without the Holes for Hope proceeds, we would not be able to support local are families in need.”
The beautiful White Eagle Golf Club has been an integral part of the Naperville Community, dating back to its 1989 inception. The beautiful 27-hole private golf course was designed by the world-renowned golfer Arnold Palmer. The course reflects Palmer’s desire to work with the natural contours of the land while providing an updated layout for the modern golfing experience. The clubhouse is a modern and welcoming space with a large banquet room, and the club has a well-deserved reputation for excellent cuisine.
St. Thomas the Apostle and the White Eagle Golf Club are proud to host this special fundraising event. White Eagle Golf Club is located at 3400 Club Drive, Naperville, IL 60564.
